Tidy is built to act only on your own account, in your own browser.
What we collect
Nothing. Tidy does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data, and does not send your chats or account information to anyone.
What's stored, and where
Only a simple lifetime count of how many chats you've archived or deleted, saved in your browser's local extension storage.
Permissions
Tidy runs on ChatGPT (chatgpt.com / chat.openai.com) and uses ChatGPT's own API with your existing session to list your conversations and to archive or delete the ones you select. These requests go only to ChatGPT — never to us or any third party.
No accounts (of ours), no analytics, no third parties, no tracking.
Tidy has no backend. There is nothing for us to see.
Destructive actions
Deletion is permanent and is always confirmed before it runs; archiving is reversible within ChatGPT.
