SpendLens is built to keep your data on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. SpendLens does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.
What's stored, and where
Daily message counts and your settings are saved only in your browser's local extension storage. They never leave your device.
Permissions
SpendLens runs on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity solely to detect when you send a message (so it can be counted) and to estimate token counts from message length. It never reads, stores, or transmits the content of your messages.
No accounts, no analytics, no third parties, no tracking.
SpendLens has no backend. There is nothing for us to see.
